Tuesday Thriftstore Treasure's

My first treasure I found at the thrift store are these super cute kitten heels, they were $3.99 at the Goodwill.  I thought that they were so cute, they have a vintage feel to them.  I had to make them mine when I found them at the store, and for only $3.99 I had no excuses not to purchase these.  I am also wearing a jean jacket from the Goodwill $1, necklace from NY&CO gift, pink skinny jeans from Rue 21 $12, and the bag is from Target $20.

My second treasure is a purse I found also at the Goodwill on dollar day, for only $1.  It's a pretty gold quilted handbag, I can't believe no one else snagged it!  I am wearing a teal button up shirt from NY&CO, printed jeans from Rue 21 $10.99, bag from the Goodwill $1, Colette shoes from Shoedazzle $24.99.  I absolutely LOVE the Colette shoes, they look very expensive, and the quality is amazing.  Not to mention that the sole is a hot pink, part of their signature collection.

One of my favorite things is thrift store shopping, I will be posting my weekly treasures on Tuesdays, so stay tuned!  Thank you so much for stopping by and please don't forget to SUBSCRIBE!

Motivational Monday: What's in your thought closet?

I am trying something different, I want to start sharing more of me.  I am not just about fashion I also have a strong faith in God, and on Monday's I want to share something motivational.  As much as I LOVE fashion, shopping and shoes, I need to turn my focus back on to what is more valuable to me.  Faith is not something I can see like shoes, so it is very easy for me to get distracted and focus on material things.

A couple of years ago I was very blessed to be part of a bible study at church on a book by Jennifer Rothschild: Me Myself & Lies.  It was such an amazing experience to learn how powerful my thoughts are and how I could change all the negative talk in my thought closet to positive powerful words God wants us to speak to ourselves.  I tend to be very harsh on myself and say everything from you are so ugly, you will never be good enough.

In the book Jennifer refers to your thoughts as a thought closet, which I can totally relate to since I love fashion so much.  It made so much sense to me, if you gather all your thoughts and write them down like a thesaurus, what would your thesaurus say about you?   I want to start building up my thoughts with truth and not lies.

What is in your thought closet?  Do you speak truth or lies to yourself?  I hope you will come back with me next Monday to see what I have learned, it is a 6 chapter book so only 5 weeks left to share and learn how to build up our thoughts together!

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

Shoedazzle Gina: Black

I ordered Gina in nude and loved her so much that I went ahead and ordered it in black as well.  I was able to snag this shoe for only $24.99 during the Shoedazzle sale.  I ordered Gina a half size up as I usually do with pointed toe shoes and the fit is perfect.  Gina is such an on trend shoe with the captoe and color block pointed toe, faux patented leather.  If this shoe was available in other colors I would order those as well.

 Jean Jacket: Goodwill $1
T-shirt: NY&CO
Lauren Conrad Tulle Skirt: Kohl's
Lime bag: Rue 21 $5
Gina: Shoedazzle $24.99

Shoe Challenge Day 30 Erin

My 30 day Shoe Challenge was a huge challenge for me, I am so busy with my 4 kids and home, but I did enjoy going outside of my comfort zone.  I also managed to purge 23 pairs of shoes to make room for the new one's coming in, so I am keeping my word of only keeping shoes I know I will use.  I LOVE shoes, but I am learning to be more selective when I purchase shoes now I only buy them if I absolutely love them and know that I will wear them.

I chose Erin for the last day of my shoe challenge.  Erin is pretty breathtaking with all the details.  The black and nude straps,  gold studs, a reflective gold heel, and a pointed toe.  This shoe is just beautiful!  Not to mention that I snagged her while Shoedazzle gave everyone a $15 credit, and during a sale, so this shoe was only $24.99!  It is also a replica of a Valentino shoe which I would never be able to afford, so this was a total steal.

This heel on the shoe is very low so you can wear them to spice any outfit from jeans to a plain t-shirt and leather jacket, or dress them up with a pretty dress or skirt.  I ordered .5 size up as I usually do with pointed toe shoes for my wide feet.  I would love the order Erin in nude, this shoe is a must have for any fashionista!

I am wearing a black blazer from 5-7-9 $20, a high low skirt I found at Forever 21 for only $4.99, a lace top from Rue 21 $4, my Melie Bianco Bow Satchel is from Little Black Bag, and my Erin shoes from Shoedazzle $24.99.

Shoe Challenge Day 29 Esther

I am wearing Esther from Shoedazzle, a satin floral print Mary Jane chunky heel shoe.  I was a little hesitant because of how chunky the heel is on this shoe, but I am so glad I purchased these shoes!  I love them not only because we share the same name, but because they are extremely comfortable!

I am wearing a lace top from Target $5, Lace & jean skirt from Rue 21 $5, my jean jacket is from Goodwill $1, my rosette clutch is from my facebook store Belladazzle $30, and my shoes are Esther from Shoedazzle.
