Mommy & Me: Minty

I decided to take a little break from blogging, I really wanted to relax and enjoy my kids without having to worry about anything else.  It has been extremly hot here in Arizona, it was 115 degrees the other day!  On hot summer days we usually stay inside during the day and maybe go out to Sonic and enjoy the half price shakes.  They have 25 flavors of shakes, and I have only tried a couple different flavors.  I keep wondering what Penut Butter Bacon tastes like, but I am not brave enough to try.  Maybe before the summer is over I will dare to try it!

The last time I did a Mommy & Me post was in April.  Wow, time goes by really fast!!!  I love the color mint it is one of my favorite colors.  I love this gray, metalic, white and mint combination.  It is such a fresh and easy summer look. Like you may already know if you follow my blog I usually shop clearance and sale racks, and it is no exception when it comes to shopping for my kids.  My favorite places to find really affordable and cute clothes for my kids are Kmart, Walmart, Target, and H&M.

I Love my little Violet Rose!  She is my little princess, she is definetly mommy's girl.

Blazer: Walmart $3
Purse: Target $2.22
Jeans: Target $10
Shoes: Payless $15

Blazer: Thriftstore Find $1
Necklace: Charlotte Russe $5
Crotchet Shorts: Charlotte Russe $10
Purse: Icon from JustFab
Shoes: Carine from Shoedazzle $15

The silver shoes are on clearance right now, if you decide to order these I would recommend going up half a size.  I have wide feet and a 9 would have been perfect, but they only had 8.5 so I went ahead and ordered.  Hopefully they will stretch out after a break them in.  Use my link to sign up if you are not yet a member, they have so many cute shoes on clearance right now!

  1. What a fresh summery look for both of you! I rarely wear heals (ok, I haven't worn heals in 19 years lol) but, I actually purchased 2 pairs of very small heals on sale (about 1 1/2 inches) and loved wearing them a few weeks ago. That motivated me and my daughter to go shoe shopping/looking. She wanted me to try on these huge over the top red shoes with spikes and about 6 inch heals. And guess what? I could actually walk in them! lol It was fun and encouraged me to keep moving a little more out of my comfortable clothing rut!
