Style Me Friday: Fun in Shorts

Happy Friday!  I am linking up once again with Ebony from "The Fashionista Next Door" this weeks challenge was to wear shorts and make them look like a suit.  Shorts in Arizona are a must, and finding the perfect length for me is a challenge, I don't like my shorts to long or to short.  I found these green shorts at Walmart a couple days ago, I love the fit and the material.  I really love green and yellow together, my Prabal Gurung heels complete my outfit.

Black & White: Classy

This first look is from last week, I hadn't posted it since my computer was not working.  My hubby fixed it, thank God because I did not want to buy a new computer.  Black and white outfits are a huge trend right now, but this color combo never really goes out of style.  Neon is a fun color for Spring and Summer, but you want to be careful and wear it with something simple so that it adds that pop of color to your outfit.

This next outfit was inspired by Audrey Hepburn.  A style Icon who had such a classy and timeless style.  She often wore black or white, her pearls, and her glasses.  I found this black and white striped dress at the thrift store, it was slightly longer, but I decided to cut it to fit me at the length that I like.  These pictures were part of my Mother's Day present from my photographer and 8 yr old daughter Nicole.  I really love these pictures I think they may be my favorite pictures she has taken of me, she is a great photographer!

High-low Skirt: with Jessica

Today I did a collaborating video with Jessica from Jessicafashionnotes.com.  This month our challenge was to use a high-low skirt, that is a fashion trend I have really come to love.  There is something about high low skirts that makes you feel princess like, especially when the wind blows your skirt.  

Unfortunately for me I had already taken all my pictures and video last week, but a couple days ago my computer decided it was no longer going to turn on anymore.  Luckily I had 1 picture of my outfit saved and I had my video loaded on YouTube waiting to share it!  My video is very shaky, due to the fact that m 8 yr old Nicole filmed it, but it was her first video so I think she still did a great job.  I might just use the tripod next time though, it's hard to keep the camera still.

Lime Punch Colorblock

Happy Wednesday!  I love Wednesday's we have Women Of Destiny at Living Word Bible Church, it's so much fun!  It feels like an event every single week with a beautiful table spread, beautiful stylish women who love fashion and God just like me I love it!

Today I am wearing my new Lime Punch jeans from JustFab, these are my favorite pair of jeans from them.  I love the stretch, they are higher waited which I love, and the color hello it's so bright and happy!  I am thinking I need the pink and blue jeans added to my collection.

Kate Bosworth Inspired: White T-Shirt

Happy Friday!  I am linking up again with Ebony from Style Me Friday, this week our challenge is a white t-shirt.  I love this challenge because you can basically wear a white t-shirt with any outfit so I am really looking forward to seeing everyone's outfits today!  I was inspired by Kate Bosworths outfit, a white t-shirt with a green skirt.  Her outfit is simple and chic.  I decided to create a very casual outfit with this green skirt and nude sandals.  I love that this outfit is casual, comfy, and cute! 
 

I really love the way this skirt is light weight, and has the prettiest deatails.  It has some embroidered details towards the end of the skirt, and a pretty lace lining perfect for Spring!

Mulberry from JustFab has quickly become a new favorite bags in my collection.  I love the netral color, making it so easy to go with many of my favorite Spring outfits.  The weaved details, and the gold studs make this bag very unique and stand out.
