Blogiversary: Reflection

My official 2 year Blogiversary was September 20th, I really wanted to make sure I blogged about it but got really busy and I just didn't have time.  As I look back at these past two years and thought about how I feel about my blog, I realized that I am no where near to where I would like to be.  There is so much room for improvement, I could really use some more consistency on regularly posting.  I would also like to be able to share more of me, which would include my faith, my family, and being a little more transparent with my readers.

When I first started my blog I didn't really have a vision of what I wanted it to be.  I just knew I wanted to have something that belonged to me, where I could go at the end of the day and feel like I could still be me.  It can be really easy to get lost in the mom role,  and wife role, and just lose yourself.  I have this desire in me to still be that fun, loving, genuine person I once was before I settled into my mommy and wife roles.

Maybe you think that this sounds selfish, but I really believe that everyone needs to have a way to express who they are.  Yes I am a wife and mom, but I am also a woman who enjoys shopping, finding great deals, and sharing them with my readers.  I don't know where I will be a year from now, but I do know that I really need to sit down and set some goals for myself.  I need to start working towards them if I plan to grow.  I hope that you will join me in this journey as I grow and find my place as a blogger.
