Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!  I hope everyone is having an amazing time with their friends and family.  Christmas is my favorite time celebration, and not because of the presents, but because of the time I get to spend with my family.  The truth is when you are a kid it's all about the presents, but as you get older you cherish the quality time with your loved one's the most.

We took a last minute trip to California to be with our family, and of course my first thought was what should I pack?  Most of the time I end up wishing I had brought some extra outfits just in case, but this time I tried to only pack what I knew I was going to wear.  I took pictures of a few outfits, just to make sure I liked how they looked on me.  When I put an outfit together in my head, sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn't.

The first outfit is very simple I saw something similar on a mannequin at Wet Seal.  I really wanted to wear these boots I purchased from the Shoedazzle Bogo Sale, but I was having a hard time finding an outfit to wear them with.

Jacket: Rue 21
Dress: Kohl's
Necklace: Belladazzle
Boots: Shoedazzle

I fell in love with this Jennifer Lopez dress I found at Kohl's on clearance for only $14!  It is a pretty cream color with gold accents.  I love the shape of the dress also it's very lady like.  I paired it with my jean jacket so to make it a little bit casual and too dressed up.

 Jacket: Rue 21
Dress: Kohl's
Watch: Shoedazzle
Bracelets: Forever 21
Heart Clutch: Justfab gift
Anklet's: H&M
Heels: Jennifer Lopez from Kohl's

This outfit I am debating about still only because the skirt is so short, I bought some gray leggings I want to try it with before I decide how to wear it.

Blazer: Kohl's
Top: Candie's from Kohl's
Bracelet: H&M
Clutch: Send the Trend
Shoes: Sole Society

Red Leather & Vera Wang Boots

Forever 21 is one of my FAVORITE stores, especially when they are having their clearance sales!  I instantly thought of Michael Jackson when I found this jacket, and for the price I found it for I had to get it.  I am not a hard core Michael Jackson fan, but I do like some of his songs.  One of my favorites is "The way you make me feel", which one of Michael's songs is your favorite?

I found these fabulous boots in my mom's closet during my last visit there, they are some pretty Very Wang boots, and I love them!  It was raining during my visit to California, so these boots have already gotten some good use out of them.  Oh and my purse, isn't it neat?  I found it at a garage sale, and is a handmade crotchet purse knit together with the tops of the aluminum cans.  Very cool, and different so of course I had to have it!

Jacket: Red Faux Leather Forever 21 $9.50
Shirt: Marilyn Monroe Walmart $3
Shorts: Kohl's
Fishnet stockings: $1 Dollar Store
Boots: Very Wang Boots from Kohl's Gift
Purse: $2

Leather & Cashmere

I visited my family in California a couple weeks ago, every time I go my mom always has something in her closet she no longer wants.  She had this pretty pencil leather skirt she had purchased and NY&CO and only worn once.  I had been looking for a nice faux leather pencil skirt, and lucky me I found it in my mom's closet!  It fits me a little big around the waist, and slightly longer than what I am used to, but I am sure I can take it the tailor to get adjusted.

Eboni is hosting a link up on her blog The Fashionista Next Door.  She is an amazing blogger, with incredible style.  If you are not already following her, what are you waiting for!

Tuesday's Thrifty Treasure's

My first thrift store find is this 70's vintage dress.  I was so happy because of course I found it on Dollar Day, and it was my size!  I am silly I know I get excited over little things like this, but vintage dresses can be really pricey.  I think the only thing I would change about this dress is shorten it to maybe above the knee, I am just so used to wearing my dresses and skirts a bit shorter.
Dress: Thrift store $1
Shoes: Cher Justfab
Clutch: Thriftstore
Belt: Kohl's

My second find is this tweed cream blazer, it came with a skirt, but I decided to break it up and use it with a different skirt.  I also found this on Dollar Day at the thrift store.  I love suits, but I have found that they look best when you break them up.  I am very obsessed with blazers and how they slim you down and give you a put together look.   This cranberry skirt is from Charlotte Russe, it's the same style as the rose skirt in my last post.
Necklace: Pearls necklace gift
Blazer: thrift store find $1
Skirt: Charlotte Russe $24.99
Purse: Melie Bianco Bow Satchel Little Black Bag
Shoes: JustFab

Holiday Outfit Idea's

I have a few Holiday outfit idea's, I find it easier to put my outfit's together on my blog, that way whenever a party comes up I already know what I want to wear.  It really saves me time from trying on a bunch of outfits.  Holiday's can be busy and stressful enough, picking out an outfit should not be a burden, but a fun thing!

My first outfit is very simple black and white.  I found this dress at Forever 21, the white lace Peter Pan color is adorable.  I purchased it on clearance of course.  I kept this outfit simple with black tights, black Mary Jane Heels from Forever 21, pearl earrings and bracelet that I made myself, and my Melie Bianco Bow Satchel from My Little Black Bag.

 Dress: Forever 21 $8.50
Jewelry: Handmade from Belladazzle
Bag: Melie Bianco bow satchel from Little Black Bag
Shoes: Mary Jane's from Forever 21

My second outfit is hot pink, and black.  When I think of the Holiday's I think red's, blacks, and creams.  I decided to mix it up and add hot pink this time.  I found this pink blazer at Charolette Russe, black pleather skirt is from Kohl's, and my pretty pink heels were a gift from my friend.  I really love this color combo you can never go wrong with a pink and black outfit!

Pink blazer: Charlotte Russe $20
Black top: H&M
Pleather Skirt: Vera Wang Kohl's $24.99
Bracelet: Shodiva Handmade bracelet from Belladazzle
Heels: Gift similar Juliana JustFab

My third outfit I decided to combine rose, black, and pearls.  It is a fun and classy outfit, the top is a super cute lace with bow details on it that make it look classy and delicate.  I really love this style of skirt because it is very flattering to most body types, and comfortable as well.

Top: Rue 21 $8
Pearl Necklace: Gift
Skirt: Charlotte Russe $24.50
Clutch: H&M $5
Shoes: Carrie from Sole Society Gift

Hope you enjoyed my Holiday inspired outfits.  Thank you so much for stopping by & please don't forget to SUBSCRIBE!

Tuesday's Thriftstore Treasure

I am running behind once again, what a surprise!  Seems to be the story of my life lately, but thank God I am finally feeling better.  I am almost 100% back to feeling normal, good bye cold!  They say better late than never, so here is my post for today's look of the day.

My thriftstore treasure today is a Liz Claiborne grey metalic blazer.  I love that it's a neutral color, but the metalic adds a little umph to the normally boring color gray.  I prefer brighter colors, but I really liked this blazer.  Last week I found these beautiful pointed toe berry pumps at Kohl's on clearance, so I had to grab them.  I already featured this bag on Friday's post, but I really love it I had to feature it again.

 Blazer: Thriftstore find $1
Marilyn Monroe t-shirt: Walmart $5
Shorts & glitter belt: Kohl's $8
 Glitter Bag: Candie's Kohl's $14.99
Shoes: APT9 Kohl's $20

Friday's Fab Finds

I feel like it has been FOREVER since I have posted on my blog, but it really hasn't been very long.   I have so many outfits that I need to post, but I have been feeling a little under the weather lately. I went to California last weekend, and I think the change of weather kinda messed me up a little.

I had an amazing weekend last weekend my momma flew me in to California for the weekend so that I could have a weekend to relax, we did some shopping, met my Best Friend Maria's brand new baby girl Sarai, and my brand new nephew Nathan!  I am finally an auntie so excited! I went out for a little dancing with my friend Maria and one of my favorite cousin's Bunny.   I also met up with my dad and sister for a breakfast at one of our favorite places in the Bay Area, The First Awekening.  I had a really good time.

So anyway moving on to my Friday's Fab Finds, I did a lot of shopping right before Thanksgiving, and found some really amazing deals!  I found this high low black dress at Wet Seal a couple weeks ago, and instantly fell in love with it.  It is a little more than just an ordinary LBD, the lace overlay is so pretty with the black polka dots!  It is very on trend with the High Low craze going on right now.  The best part of course is that I purchased it on sale, buy 1 item and get the second for 1 cent!  I ended up getting the same dress in a pretty blush color, so 2 dresses for $18, you really can't beat that price.

Black Dress: Wet Seal $17.99
Jean Jacket: Thriftstore Find $1
Pearl Necklace: Gift
Hello Kitty Watch: Gift available at Kohl's
Purse: Kohl's Candie $14.99
Black Heels: Mall like Shelby from JustFab

My second fab find is this super cute glitter purse from Kohl's part of the Candie collection.  It is so cute, and if you are looking for the perfect gift for a fashion loving girly girl, this is the perfect gift!  The regular price is $40, and it is on sale right now for only $14.99!
