My first thrift store find is this 70's vintage dress. I was so happy because of course I found it on Dollar Day, and it was my size! I am silly I know I get excited over little things like this, but vintage dresses can be really pricey. I think the only thing I would change about this dress is shorten it to maybe above the knee, I am just so used to wearing my dresses and skirts a bit shorter.
Dress: Thrift store $1
Shoes: Cher Justfab
Clutch: Thriftstore
Belt: Kohl's
My second find is this tweed cream blazer, it came with a skirt, but I decided to break it up and use it with a different skirt. I also found this on Dollar Day at the thrift store. I love suits, but I have found that they look best when you break them up. I am very obsessed with blazers and how they slim you down and give you a put together look. This cranberry skirt is from Charlotte Russe, it's the same style as the rose skirt in my last post.
Blazer: thrift store find $1
Skirt: Charlotte Russe $24.99
Purse: Melie Bianco Bow Satchel Little Black Bag
Shoes: JustFab

I love the second outfit! I agree the first needs to be shortened a little. I love dresses either above the knee or at least to the ankle. i don't do much between the knee and ankle =]
ReplyDeleteYes, exactly Amber I don't really feel as comfortable with longer dresses. I will probably take it to get shortened, since I do love the dress. Thank you :)
DeleteThose outfits are great. I wish we had a dollar day at our thrift store.
ReplyDeleteYou should ask! I never knew until I asked, they don't exactly advertise it. I know that Epic and Goodwill do have dollar day's, but it does depend on which state they are in. I know that some Goodwill stores in CA no longer have dollar day's.
DeleteLove that vintage dress...can't believe it was only $1!
ReplyDeleteThank you Malia, I know I was so happy :D
DeleteI can't believe you got that red dress for $1. You are my shopping hero. :)

Hehe, thanks Dawn. The problem is limiting myself to purchasing items I know I will buy, and not over buy because of the price. Same problem when I go to the Dollar Store, sometimes I over buy with out wanting to.
DeleteOh my goodness. I love the top one! I like the second one, too, but would add tights. My legs get cold lol :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful as always
Thanks Shayla. I was planning to wear tights with the second outfit, but I only had black tights and they clashed with the outfit. I def need to invest in more tights!
DeleteCute outfits as always!!! Vintage rocks!
ReplyDeleteThanks, I love Vintage! I wish I would find anything from the 50's or 60's but I know that is asking too much! Wishful thinking :D
DeleteI need to hire you as my stylist. When I am rich and famous that is... lol
ReplyDeleteAmanda, that would be so much fun for me! You don't have to spend very much to find nice outfits either :)
DeleteGorgeous dress, and I love your skirt!!

Thank you Trinnah!
DeleteI love blazers too, they can help to dress up a plain pair of jeans! Cute outfits.
ReplyDeleteYes, and they can be pricey at the store when you buy them regular price. Most of mine are from the thrift store hauls, and I usually get most of mine for a $1 so you can imagine I have a lot of blazers!
ReplyDeletecute unique looks!!! :) I would have went with a nude not red lip color instead since the outfits contain reds
ReplyDeleteThanks! I prefer to wear darker lipstick nudes really wash me out in the pictures ;)
