Tuesday's Thrifty Treasure's

My first thrift store find is this 70's vintage dress.  I was so happy because of course I found it on Dollar Day, and it was my size!  I am silly I know I get excited over little things like this, but vintage dresses can be really pricey.  I think the only thing I would change about this dress is shorten it to maybe above the knee, I am just so used to wearing my dresses and skirts a bit shorter.
Dress: Thrift store $1
Shoes: Cher Justfab
Clutch: Thriftstore
Belt: Kohl's

My second find is this tweed cream blazer, it came with a skirt, but I decided to break it up and use it with a different skirt.  I also found this on Dollar Day at the thrift store.  I love suits, but I have found that they look best when you break them up.  I am very obsessed with blazers and how they slim you down and give you a put together look.   This cranberry skirt is from Charlotte Russe, it's the same style as the rose skirt in my last post.
Necklace: Pearls necklace gift
Blazer: thrift store find $1
Skirt: Charlotte Russe $24.99
Purse: Melie Bianco Bow Satchel Little Black Bag
Shoes: JustFab

  1. I love the second outfit! I agree the first needs to be shortened a little. I love dresses either above the knee or at least to the ankle. i don't do much between the knee and ankle =]

    1. Yes, exactly Amber I don't really feel as comfortable with longer dresses. I will probably take it to get shortened, since I do love the dress. Thank you :)

    1. You should ask! I never knew until I asked, they don't exactly advertise it. I know that Epic and Goodwill do have dollar day's, but it does depend on which state they are in. I know that some Goodwill stores in CA no longer have dollar day's.

    1. Hehe, thanks Dawn. The problem is limiting myself to purchasing items I know I will buy, and not over buy because of the price. Same problem when I go to the Dollar Store, sometimes I over buy with out wanting to.

    1. Thanks Shayla. I was planning to wear tights with the second outfit, but I only had black tights and they clashed with the outfit. I def need to invest in more tights!

  10. Yes, and they can be pricey at the store when you buy them regular price. Most of mine are from the thrift store hauls, and I usually get most of mine for a $1 so you can imagine I have a lot of blazers!
