Celebrity Inspired: Kat Graham & Camo

Hello fashionistas!  My OOTD is inspired by the lovely Kat Graham from one of my favorite shows The Vampire Diaries.  I love how she makes the camo print look super sexy by adding her own special touch to make it unique.  She has gold studs all over her jacket, and she is wearing some bold lipstick.  Paired with some black leggings and boots, she is looking hot! I did not style my look exactly like her's, I had to do a little tweeking to add some of me to the outfit. 

I would definitely NOT consider myself hot, but I was trying to add some spice to my military inspired outfit.  I have been searching long and hard for the past couple months for an Army jacket and pants.  When I stopped looking I found them at the Goodwill last week!  I only payed $4.99 for the jacket and $4.99 for the pants!  I was so excited I had already given up on the search for them!  

I jazzed up my jacket by adding some gold accents to the pockets, I was trying to be creative.  I liked the outcome, I had to make it look a little girly!  I am wearing the faux-leather leggings I purchased at Charlotte Russe, can I just say that these leggings are extremely comfortable!  It feels like I am wearing a second skin, lol.  I added my pink Law bag from Justfab, to give it a pop of color.  My heels are Shoedazzle's Kiara gold glitter pointed toe shoes.

Kourtney Kardashian Inspired: Blue Blazer

I am really having fun putting together celebrity inspired looks for less!  You don't have to do the look exactly the same, you should add a little bit of you to the look.  I love Kourtney Kardashians style, because she takes everyday items you may already have in your wardrobe and adds her own flare to the outfits!  I already had my jeans and the white shirt, and my bow clutch.  My newest purchases are the blue blazer and my black boots.

 I ordered from the Justfab's bogo sale, and I am so glad I ordered these!  Tarni is the name of these super cute feminine boots, the cherry on top is the bow in the back of the boots.  I love how fitted and soft the boots are, and they are true to size.  I always order my boots  a half size up since I have wide feet,  I am using thick socks and I still have some wiggle room.  Oh and they are extremely comfortable, I put them on as soon as I got them today and haven't taken them off since!

White & Black Tuxedo Blazer

I love sharing the great deals that I find with my friends, who knows the next deal I share might be exactly what you are looking for!  I was so excited when I found this black and white stretchy blazer at Rue 21 for only $3!!!  I have already posted about the faux-leather skirt I purchased at Forever 21, the multicolor necklace is a Princess Vera Wang from Kohl's clearance I payed about $5.  The pictures definitely do not do this necklace justice, it's so sparkly and so princess like!  My pink heels are from Charlotte Russe only $9.99, and my Dooney&Bourke was a gift.

Kim Kardashian Inspired: Orange blazer & Leather leggings

I have been wanting to do this inspired look for a really long time, but hadn't really made time.  I purchased this orange blazer at H&M mid-summer last year, and I recently found these faux leather leggings at Charlotte Russe.  The faux-leather leggings are surprisingly comfortable, the material in the back are like regular stretchy material.  My beautiful Jackie heels are from Shoedazzle, featured in my last Shoe Haul.  My black quilted bag is one of my favorite purses from JustFab VIP.

OOTD: Hearts & Leather

Happy Friday!  This is my first OOTD for the new year, I tried taking the pictures outside, but it is extremely windy!  I can't wait until it starts getting warmer here in Arizona, I am a wimp and can't take the cold weather.  The good thing about Arizona is that we have really awesome weather for the most part of the year, so the couple months of really HOT days are worth the sacrifice. 

Moving on to the OOTD, I have posted this sweater before on my blog, but I love it so here it is again.  It is a really pretty pink color but for some reason it looks red in the pictures.  I purchased this sweater at one of my favorite stores Rue 21 for $9.  I also found the perfect faux-leather skirt at Forever 21 for only $17.80, it has an elastic waist which I love.  

My boots are Shoedazzle's Darya, they are very pretty especially with the pink sole, but they hurt my feet!  They are not very comfortable because of the way the shoe curves.  I have come to realize that most shoes are not very comfortable, especially the pretty ones.  For me comfortable shoes are ballet flats, and flat boots.

Looking back at 2012

Happy New Year

Happy New Year's!  What did you do on New Year's Eve?  I stayed home and had a little get together with my good friend Iris and our family.  We enjoyed some wine, snacks, and some games such as Loteria a Mexican Bingo game as we waiting for the new year to arrive. We had smores for the kids, and what kid doesn't love smores!  We welcomed 2013 with a Champagne toast, I had a really nice evening!

Nothing fancy, and no heels for me since we were staying in.  I am not loving these tights with this outfit or the flats, but I felt really lazy.  I am surprised I even dressed up I almost ended up wearing my comfy Hello Kitty sweats.  My sequin top $2.50, feathery skirt $10.00 and belt are from Charlotte Russe.  Blazer is a thriftstore find $1, and flats are from Justfab.
